Help for capture, export, and launch-day questions.
PageSnag is designed to be simple to use, but support should be just as clear. This page covers common setup
and workflow questions for the Chrome extension and points to the fastest way to reach support.

How do I capture a full page?
Open the page you want, click the PageSnag extension button, and choose Capture full page.
The extension scrolls, captures each viewport, and stitches the result into a single image.
Can I capture a scrollable frame or embedded app?
Yes. PageSnag includes frame and scrollable region capture so dashboards, embedded tools, and long in-page panes are not limited to the visible viewport.
Where are screenshots stored?
Captures and settings are stored locally in the browser. PageSnag does not upload screenshots to developer-controlled servers by default.
Which export formats are available?
The extension supports image export, PDF export, clipboard copying, and richer handoff outputs designed to make screenshots easier to reuse in documentation and review flows.
How do the AI actions work?
AI is optional and disabled by default. Users provide their own Gemini API key, and screenshot data is only sent when they explicitly choose an AI action such as summarizing or drafting a response.
What should I do if a page does not stitch correctly?
Try the capture again, confirm that the page is fully loaded, and note whether the issue happens on one URL or across multiple sites. Email that detail to support so the behavior can be reproduced.
Troubleshooting checklist
Refresh the page and retry the same capture mode once
Check whether the issue only happens on pages with sticky headers or embedded frames
Note if the problem happens during capture, editing, or export
If AI is involved, confirm that your Gemini API key is configured locally
Best way to report a bug
Email support with context, screenshots, and the exact page behavior so the bug can be reproduced quickly.
